Ham Radio Isn’t Just for Fat Guys in Basements

This Could Change Your Life — Seriously.

I’ve posted now and then on Facebook about my daily workouts and health regimen. But today, I’m going deeper — I’ve written a full blog about it.

Here’s the truth:
In our ham radio hobby, we have a health crisis.
No, it’s not RF exposure.
It’s us. Our habits. Our inactivity. Our health.

But here’s the good news — it doesn’t have to stay this way. You can change your life. I did. Others are doing it too.

A few of you have already messaged me privately saying my posts inspired you to get moving, to eat better, to start taking your health seriously. That means everything to me. Now, I want to reach more of you.

Because this isn’t just about living longer — it’s about living better.

👉 Read the blog. Share it. Let’s make our health a priority — together.

Ham Radio Contest & Live Streaming! Monetization?

Ham Radio Contesting and Monetization

Monetization in ham radio contesting? It’s quietly taking shape — mostly driven by passionate “small pistol” Ham Radio YouTube streamers who are putting in the work behind the scenes.

So why should contesters pay attention? Because this shift has the potential to change how contests are played, viewed, and scored. Some operators may choose to stream their efforts without submitting a score, especially if monetization ends up being restricted by contest rules.

This isn’t about stirring the pot — just acknowledging what’s already happening. We’ve seen monetization take off in POTA operations, and it’s likely more widespread than many realize.

Let’s take an honest look at what this could mean for the future of contesting.

💡 Ham Radio Was Just a Hobby… Now I Own 3 Companies (+1 Coming) 📡

From Driving a Pepsi Truck to Launching 3 Successful Businesses – And Working on #4

Not long ago, I was behind the wheel of a Pepsi truck. Long hours, early mornings, and a job that paid the bills but didn’t feed the fire I knew was inside me.

That’s where it started — with Pepsi-Cola. But that’s not where it ends.

I took my first real step into entrepreneurship as a Shop Steward for 100 union members. You might not think of that as a business move, but it taught me how to lead, negotiate, manage people, and understand how systems work. I saw firsthand what motivates people and what stalls progress — insights I carry into every business decision today.

Fast forward: I now run three successful ventures in the ham radio industry, a space I’m deeply passionate about. Each one started as a side hustle — just an idea I couldn’t shake. I didn’t have a business degree or fancy funding, just grit, curiosity, and the belief that I could build something better.

And guess what? I’m already working on venture #4.

This post isn’t about me flexing. It’s about showing you what’s possible.

🚚 You can start behind the wheel of a truck.
📦 You can turn a passion project into a product.
📡 You can build a community around something you love.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just start.
