DX Balls are weighted tennis-ball projectiles engineered exclusively for non-impact line-launching uses — It should only be used with a compatible DX Launcher and for geting lines in to hard to reach tress.
DX Balls are sold and intended only for non-impact line-launching Do not use DX Balls as impact projectiles or anti-personnel rounds. Possession or use of line-launchers and projectiles for impact on people or animals may be illegal and can cause serious injury or death.
Under current federal ATF guidance, 37/38 mm launchers are typically not classified as destructive devices when used only with non-lethal signal/line-launch projectiles.
